What affects pricing?
We aim for complete transparency in our pricing. Your final quote is personalized based on a specific set of craft-focused variables that ensure the highest quality results.
- Material Characteristics: The material being engraved—like premium hardwoods or fine crystal—determines the exact laser power and time needed for a flawless mark.
- Engraving Scale: The total coverage and size of the engraving influence both design setup and engraving run-time.
- Technical Setup & Optimization: A one-time fee per design covers vectorization, file preparation, and customized jigging for precision placement.
- Engraving Depth: Deeper etches, often requested for outdoor plaques or heavy-use items, require additional passes for a permanent finish.
Payment & Policies
Payment Methods
We accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and cash (local pickup). Payment details are provided after your quote is approved.
Design Deposits & Proof Approval
For custom engraving requests that require layout work (logos, detailed designs, or customer-provided items), a $15 non-refundable design deposit is required to begin. If you move forward, the deposit is applied to your final total.
Final Payment
Once your proof/design is approved (when applicable), the remaining balance is due before engraving begins. This ensures we can start production immediately and meet your turnaround time.
Text-Only Personalization
Simple text-only engravings may not require a proof. In those cases, payment is due before production.
Because items are personalized, deposits are non-refundable, and custom orders cannot be refunded once production begins. Please review spelling and design details carefully before approving.
